Please add the endpoint variable to the translatable string for "... location for" relationships
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: MBS-8550
                 URL: http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/MBS-8550
             Project: MusicBrainz Server
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Internationalization
            Reporter: Maurits Meulenbelt

Strings like "was the arranging location for" in Transifex are hard to translate to Dutch (and perhaps other languages as well) because in cases like this, Dutch sentence structure needs to have the endpoint (the object after "for") in the middle of the sentence.
For example, "X was the arranging location for Y" is best translated into Dutch as "X was de locatie waar Y gearrangeerd werd". But for that, we would need to have "was de arranging location for {object}" in Transifex, or even "{object1} was de arranging location for {object2}" for some languages.

Ulrich Klauer commented on MBS-8550:

Actually, it should work if you enter

{code}
was de locatie waar {entity1} gearrangeerd werd
{code}

as the translation. I won't promise because I don't see a simple way to try it in a test setup, but I'd say do it and we'll see if it works on beta. :)

Hmm. Isn't it always supposed to be X phrase Y in the code, and that's also why we need to do silly phrases for URL-Work because of Work coming second?

Maurits Meulenbelt commented on MBS-8550:

Ok, I've translated a string including "{entity1}" to try this out. I'd be surprised if it works, since {entity1} isn't part of the source string, but we'll see next time the beta's updated (or whenever the sandbox is turned back on).
